Meet Carlos Hernandez, owner and founder of Roatán Tours Hernandez. Born on the mainland of Honduras, Carlos made Roatán his home 22 years ago. With 21 years of experience as a professional tour guide and a deep love for the island, he brings its landscapes, culture and hidden treasures to life. Together with his German wife, Manuela, he welcomes guests in English, German and Spanish, making every visit feel personal. Manuela brings 12 years of cruise ship experience and a special understanding of what cruise guests need, helping shape memorable island excursions around your time ashore. For Carlos and Manuela, this is more than a tour — it is a warm welcome to the island they call home.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Roatan Tours Hernandez, we offer several payment options for your convenience and security. Choose the one that suits you best: Crypto, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash on the island. Credit card payments will be accepted soon.
Deposit Option (35%)
Secure your booking with a 35% deposit, paid via Crypto, Zelle, or PayPal. The remaining balance is due upon arrival in Roatán — cash is welcome too. Every payment is agreed directly with Carlos and confirmed in writing.
Refund Policy
We want your experience with Roatan Tours Hernandez to be worry-free. That’s why we offer clear and transparent refund options:
Ship Does Not Dock
If your ship is unable to dock in Roatán, we will provide a full refund.
Cancellation 24 Hours Prior
If you need to cancel your tour, you may do so at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Health-Related Issues
A full refund will be provided for health reasons with a valid letter from the ship’s doctor.
Non-Refundable Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made on the day of the tour. However, in cases of health-related cancellations, we will refund the deposit if an official medical certificate from the ship’s doctor is provided.

Your booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from Roatan Tours Hernandez. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, we are here to assist you.
